Be-Stooled

A series of stools manufactured from either reclaimed beams or live edge wood slabs contrasted with continuous pressed metal legs, complete with metal patina and mineral
oil or wax finish for all wood surfaces.

                                           3 stools  (approximate dimension: 25"x 14"x 12")

Above: Waterfall beam Stool; where wood grain is continuous along it's horizontal and vertical axis. the angle of the 'water fall' is less than perpendicular in order to enhance its ergonomic proportion with a minimal distortion to visual form. Exposed hardwood dowels are spliced thru the seat and are embedded within the  piece as structural support.

Above: Pedestal stool with equally opposing (top & bottom) structural bracing members joining continuous bands of pressed metal supporting the natural live edge of maple slab (reclaimed storm debris)

Above: Waterfall beam Stool II. A second darker version of the of the original 'waterfall beam stool' with tapered and pressed metal legs.
