Robert Joseph Morris: Brooklyn, New York, United States; rjmstudio was forunded as an experimental design workshop with a direct focus on developing concepts, architectural components, building systems and furniture. Founder, Robert Morris is a designer / architect living and working Brooklyn. Originally from Dublin, Ireland. Arrived in the NYC spring 2002 shortly after completing a postgraduate diploma in Architecture from the University of East London. Robert's interested in the expression of strategies that formally and programmatically unify contrasting elements into a coherent whole; The composition of space and materiality either temporal or ephemeral while arriving at forms often bound by their specific requirements and express the elements that informed them. At this time the studio is developing a conceptual language thats being expressed through several structural, cultural and form based mediums including furniture, urban design and the development of urban agriculture systems.
